I would first advise the Captain about the inquiry and inform them I was going to have the Sergeant complete a SARA model on the problem. I would direct the Squad Sergeant to look at the problem and prepare a SARA model on the problem.

<BR><BR>I would have him conduct research on the location and incorporate the use of his squad to develop a plan to reslove the issue. I would suggest that he also seek input from the other city departments and see if they had any possible solutions the sergeant could use in his plan. I would make sure that the Sergeant included the Downtown Middle School and the School System to address any problems and concerns they may have and seek their involvement in the solution.

<BR><BR>After the Sergeant and his squad obtained all the research information, analyzed the information and developed a plan, I would review the plan to make a determination if there was any other possible alternatives we should address. When I approved the plan I would pass the SARA model on to the Captain for review.
