Corpus: 1 Enoch
Overview
1 Enoch is a composite work preserved primarily in Ethiopic, with Aramaic fragments found among the Dead Sea Scrolls. It contains multiple sections traditionally identified as:
- Book of the Watchers (1–36)
- Book of Parables / Similitudes (37–71)
- Astronomical Book (72–82)
- Dream Visions (83–90)
- Epistle of Enoch (91–108)
