&I%27ve only been able to attend the day on Storage so my comments pertain to one day. I like getting the latest on issues and concerns pertaining to storage and where the industry is going with storage technology. The casual atmosphere of the class makes topic discussions spontaneous and pertinent to those attending. Speakers are knowledgable about their subject and are responsive to attendees questions. ::&The least valuable information would be the overload of engineering detail behind the storage technology. General comments in this area would be sufficient. ::&John Kirschner - very knowledgable about the subject and good delivery. Kept a good pace and covered a broad scope of information. %0D%0A%0D%0AMichel DiLullo - Disaster recovery is a hot topic now and I enjoyed the discussion of pros and cons of remote mirroring solutions. I found the information about virtualization applicances for mirroring and how it%27s being developed an interesting alternative solution. ::&John Kirschner - very knowledgable but too much engineering detail. I don%27t think at the atom level. %0D%0A%0D%0AMichel DiLullo - his time was limited so needed better control on discussions to insure he had the time to relay his information. The discussions were important, but information from his presentation seemed to take second place and rushed because discussions dominated. ::&?xxx?1?xxx?xxx?xxx::&?xxx?1?xxx?xxx?xxx::&TRUE::&I would like to have more information on trends and how these trends are affecting IT organizations. %0D%0ALess time on storage history and engineering detail of storage technology.%0D%0AExamples during training sessions seemed to relate the %27biggest most complex situations%27, instead examples of the most common situations might be more relevant. (example%3A Data mirroring using dark fibre under the Hudson.) %0D%0AInformation about those in attendance would be helpful so networking could occur during the seminar with those organizations simular to your own. ::&I have been in the industry 18 years.
