Also ability to meet people not previously known.::two - given circumstances - would consider all three had wife joined trip&n/a::&I have attended many classes, seminars, briefings, conferences over the years. Rarely are the instructors similar. Such is the case here - each person has their own personality and traits. To me this is what makes a conference interesting and memorable. The alternative is a "cookie cutter" instructor right out of a mold. I encourage you to continue with the various instructors because I believe that is one of the things that distinguishes your offerings.::&?0?xxx?xxx?xxx?xxx::I was very priviledged to have you include me. I believe the class warrants excellent but will leave the actual voting to those whose companies pay your expenses. I do believe the level of talent that you have onboard is very high.&Overcoming what I call the Grand Canyon - internal corporate politcs that inhibit the mainframe and non-mainframe areas from collaborating. At Wachovia, this was obvious years ago - new management put all groups under one senior manager to alter the behavior. Today GURU talks about HYBRID model - this has been in use for many year. Example - ONLINE banking is a distributed application that relies on the mainframe (where the customer accounts and DDA processing exist). SO the two exchange information for a transaction. Years ago I learned at that time (when the applications had been in production for years) the distributed engineers had not once talked to the mainframe engineers....Overcoming obstacles - politics, fear of job security, and funding - all challenges of the future success - a seminar on avoiding and overcoming challenges seems appropriate these days.
