&+++Gathering+information+on+direction+of+new+business+technologies+and+how+the+industry+views+itself,+or+should+one+say+at+times+fools+itself%3F::&++++Some+of+the+vendors+tend+to+not+be+totally+honest+about+strengths/weaknesses+of+their+equipment/technology+while+basing+measures+on+others+equipment/technology+which+tends+to+be+comparing+apples+and+oranges.+::&++Technical+information+was+covered+well,+if+a+bit+biased,+but+over+all+it+helps+set+a+good+ground+floor+of+what+is+availbale+in+a+high+level.+Instructors+did+know+their+stuff,+which+is+always+refreshing.+::&++Overall+thought+all+instructors+did+a+good+job.::&?xxx?1?xxx?xxx?xxx::&?xxx?1?xxx?xxx?xxx::++Have+already+been+passing+around+the+book+to+allow+others+on+my+team+to+reference+information+they+might+like+to+know.+&TRUE::&++Possibly+adding+in+section+on+major+software+innovations+or+at+least+what+the+business+world+seems+to+be+moving+to+(The+linux+was+a+good+touch+this+time,+but+I+was+thinking+more+along+the+lines++of+applications+then+just+OS).%0D%0A+++Also+would+like+a+bit+more+on+security,+even+at+a+high+leevel.+From+router,+firewall,+DMZ+to+trusted+etc,+with+some+basics+on+from+the+big+box+down+to+the+web+and+back+(this+is+probably+the+most+important+topics+we+are+dealing+with+in+our+day+to+day+shop+management+and+design).::&++Have+been+involved+in+computer+and+related+areas+since+1980.+Have+been+programming+since+1981,+mainly+with+a+application+background+until+1992+when+I+moved+into+more+system+support+and+analysis.+Worked+as+a+consultant+from+1986+after+leaving+Exxon+until+1994+when+I+accepted+a+position+with+the+Associates+and+then+accepted+a+contract+at+Federal+Reserve+in+1995.+Accepted+a+permanent+position+with+Federal+Reserve+Automation+Systems+in+1997+and+have+been+perfomring+Quality+Assurance+and+Change+Control+support+and+system+design+since.%0D%0A++Primary+strengths,+accepts+nothing+at+face+value+and+will+research+and+disover+weaknesses+or+problems+in+designs+and+then+strengthen+the+weaknesses+and+solve+the+problems+to+the+best+degree+time/money+allows.+When+coming+to+technical++information+I+never+lie,+and+keep+senior+management+advised+honestly+of+how+processes+are+going+so+they+can+make+solid+judgements.%0D%0A+++Day+to+day+work+usually+involves+support+of+on+going+operations+froma++change+control+standpoint,+liaison+between+customers+when+dedicated+resources++are+required+at+same+time,+review+all+changes+made+to+systems+(hardware+and+software),+design+in+house+security+and+validation+processes,+design+modifications+to+current+systems+and+either+code+or+coordinate+with+those+who+will+code+and+implement+them.+Preform+testing+and+acceptance+of+systems+designs+and+define+enhancements/+corrections+when+needed.+Primary+trouble+shooter+for+current+systems+for+6+major+systems+and+back+up+for+22.%0D%0A++++::&?0?xxx?xxx?xxx?xxx::&::&::&::&?xxx?1?xxx?xxx::&::
