&Overall I liked the storage and backup presentations as that is the most relavent to me at this time. I did however, would have liked to get into more detail on those subjects.%0D%0A%0D%0AI liked the info obtained on S/390 and Zseries as this is something I had little background on. I also liked the IBM direction and overview on the investments in Linux and portability of UNIX.::&First day was ok, but it was too high level. I think this could have been done in a couple of hours. Second, I didn%27t care about the details of the Zprocessor technology Dr. Rao presented. He is a good presenter and some of the info was good, but I%27m not interested in how the processors are built, but how functional they are.::&Most had above average presentation skills, making the presentations more enjoyable yet keeping the crowd focused. ::&Dr. Rao, was a bit hard to understand and due to the material I was quite bored.::&?xxx?xxx?2?xxx?xxx::&?xxx?1?xxx?xxx?xxx::&TRUE::&Industry infrastructure examples or guidelines. By this I mean it would be good to put into perspective set requirements of a company, and have a strategy presentation on how best to meet the requirements. If a host and distributed environment is used, how is it put together, sizing of requirements to the solutions, bandwidth issues, virtual network segregation, backup strategies, contingency plans, disaster recovery, continuous availability, switch/re-director connectivety, etc. %0D%0A%0D%0AVisuals on how to strategize and implement a solution to the requirements based on need and cost perspectives.::&10 years and my strengths would be quite general. I am responsible for helping my area and other areas look at strategies to resolve problems instead of putting in quick fixes. I also have to ensure a standard direction is followed to ensure compatibility and support issues are addressed in a distributed environment.::&?xxx?xxx?2?xxx?xxx::&Doesn%27t really relate as we have someone else that does this. My only involvement was with Bill to get additional info.::&No.::&Not at this time.::&FALSE::
