I do not think the DMIA should "certify" companies as they do not know anything about the software technical issues. I think you have to leave it up to the individual distributor/manufacturer software companies to write the software that meets the standard. A member committee could be the certifying body but I do not think DMIA employees should do the certifying. If a fee were justified then people will pay it but if it appears to be just a revenue genereating item for the asssociation then I think DMIA will receive some objections to the fee. 15-Apr-2004 16:21:20 GMT,10820457300546,9,Q:1:::::A:?0=0?1=0::undefined.0:1:1:0::::R:?xxx?1 15-Apr-2004 16:21:20 GMT,10820457300546,9,Q:3:::::A:?0=0?1=0::undefined.0:1:1:0::::R:?0?xxx 15-Apr-2004 16:21:20 GMT,10820457300546,9,Q:4:::::A:?0=0?1=0?2=0?3=0::undefined.0:1:1:0::::R:?0?xxx?xxx?xxx 15-Apr-2004 16:21:20 GMT,10820457300546,9,Q:5:::::A:?0=0?1=0::undefined.0:1:1:0::::R:?0?xxx 15-Apr-2004 16:21:20 GMT,10820457300546,9,Q:6:::::A:?0=0?1=0::undefined.0:1:1:0::::R:?xxx?1 15-Apr-2004 16:21:20 GMT,10820457300546,9,Q:7:::::A:?0=0?1=0?2=0?3=0::undefined.0:1:1:0::::R:?0?xxx?xxx?xxx 15-Apr-2004 16:21:20 GMT,10820457300546,9,Q:7:::::C:In question 6 I am not sure the best way to pay for any type of certification.
