purpose&?xxx?xxx?xxx?xxx?4::My position deals with students, faculty and
administrators complying with the same
policies. these three groups dont always see
the same situation from the same vantage point. &?xxx?xxx?xxx?xxx?4::I have been terms hard, hold to a high standard
yet fair. These terms are generally used in the
same sentence. &?xxx?xxx?2?xxx?xxx::Always if they have an appointment scheduled
they have my undivided attention. If they stop
by my office unannounced Im usually in problem
solving mode or dealing with another cohort I
could seem not totally engaged. I tell
students to make appointments for just this
reason.
Colleagues I have gotten much better and
stopping what Im doing or ask them if I can
get back with them in a few minutes. &?xxx?xxx?xxx?xxx?4::&?xxx?xxx?xxx?3?xxx::&?xxx?xxx?xxx?xxx?4::Only time I dont is in the case of signing a
non-disclosure document. Once Im cleared to
inform I do and explain the reason that they
didnt know sooner. Sometimes I get busy and
forget for a day or so, when that happens Im
quick to apologize for the delay.&?xxx?xxx?xxx?xxx?4::Ive been told that sometimes my body language
says that Im not interested. That isnt it
often times as the person is speaking Im
visualizing what this would be or how to start
making it work. Ive explained that to people
and they are fine with it.
Im the disagreeable agreer at times, as I
process the information being delivered &?xxx?xxx?xxx?3?xxx::Really depends on the error and the situation
at the time. It isnt always the best to
address immediately especially if the person
realizes the error and is upset about making
it. Im more inclined to say ok lets see what
we can do to limit the effect. &?xxx?xxx?xxx?xxx?4::&?xxx?xxx?xxx?xxx?4::I believe in giving credit when credit is due.
I also will back my reports when things go wrong
as my responsibility to oversee &?xxx?xxx?xxx?xxx?4::We are individuals therefore we should be treated
that way while conforming to the rules that govern
the masses. &?xxx?xxx?xxx?xxx?4::We meet daily to discuss projects&?xxx?xxx?xxx?xxx?4::&?xxx?xxx?2?xxx?xxx::I dont think it is a significant amount of time
but certainly when needed guidance is provided.&?xxx?xxx?xxx?xxx?4::&?xxx?xxx?xxx?xxx?4::My job is fluid &?xxx?xxx?xxx?3?xxx::&?xxx?xxx?xxx?xxx?4::It is all about them to them at the time. Need to
take that information and transform into real
