In my experience, proposed changes are nearly universally based on fads, or facially dumb premises. Routine changes waste valuable time and diminish efficiency in the short term, with little or no long term benefit, in my experience. The companys goals are similar, but seem to be more profit-driven than service driven. While these goals overlap, they also diverge.
