Time - The market today is driven by delivery. Customers expect quick turns and kept promises. Too often a vendor will promise or acknowledge a given date and not meet it, rather that be for pre-press or delivery. On several occassions I have had vendors say %22that job shipped today%22. Follow up the next day and they say, %22no, I didn%27t ship but it will go today.%22 I don%27t need them to tell me what I want to hear just to get me off the phone, I need to hear a true depiction of what is happened.%0D%0A%0D%0A2. The other problem I have is this. Our company is a financially strong company. We are BA-1 D%26B rated and we always pay 30 days or less. We take cash discounts when offered. Our sales are approx. %243mill per year so our volume is good. I would like to see manufactures reward such distributors with service or price incentives. I am receiving the same prices and service in most cases as companies on credit hold or that order once per month. I look for manufacturers that will establish a relationship with me where I deliver a certain volume of business and pay promptly, in return I receive either discounted pricing or prompt pay discounts.:: Not Scored by Definition
