About Candidate Maintenance
 
Candidate Maintenance is found by using the "Candidate" button on the left frame of the Administration screen. You must click the "Submit" button prior to leaving Candidate Maintenance to save any changes you make.
 
Adding A New Candidate
 
In Candidate Maintenance click on the "New" button. This places us in a position to create a new candidate.

 
Edit An Existing Candidate
 
In Candidate Maintenance highlight the candidate you wish to edit then click the "Edit" button
For instance:
 

Login ID
 
Enter the unique name with which the candidate will login. This login id can be up to 16 characters and is case sensitive.

 
Password
 
Enter the password for this candidate. This password is case sensitive and can be 16 characters long.

 
Group Owner
 
Check this box to make this candidate a group owner. (Administrator of tests and candidates)

Group ID
 
If the group owner box is checked you must identify a group ID for this candidate to administer.

Candidate Information
 
Fname/Lname - Enter the First and Last name of the candidate. First name is limited to 16 characters and Last Name is limited to 20 characters. Both are case sensitive and can only contain numbers 0-9 and letters a-z. No special characters are valid. You can have the candidate enter this information in at the time the test is given.

Email Address - Enter the email address of the candidate. You can require that the candidate enter this information at test time.

Has Taken - Here you will see the tests that this candidate has completed. This field is dynamically updated upon completion of a test.

Is Registered For - Here you will find the tests that this candidate is registered for. This field is dynamically updated when an administrator assigns a test to a candidate.

 
Test Registration
 

Select a Test to Add or Remove - Here you can add a test to the "Is Registered For" area or remove a test from the available tests list. This function can also be done in the course administration area.

To add a test, click on the test you would like to add then click the "Add Selected Test" button. You can also click on the "Add All Tests" button to add all tests to the candidates list of available tests.

Test Removal
 

To remove a test from a candidate's list of available tests just click on the test you would like to remove, then click the "Remove Selected Test" button. You can also remove all tests by clicking the "Remove All Tests" button.
