The purpose of my department is to provide the technological capability to help educate them.::&Happy and productive employees. If the people that work under me feel fulfilled by their jobs, then I think Ive been successful as a leader.::&There is no model I currently use. My theory is that people like clear responsibilities and work better with preset goals. You can get more out of employees with praise than in monetary compensation. If they feel they deserve more money and you give them more money, that will wear off and they will eventually feel like they deserve even more money.::&I measure leadership improvement in myself in others by our satisfaction surveys from our customers. If I tell a technician that he need to spend more time on a problem the first time, and be assured it is fixed, and then we get a second ticket for a problem, I know I have failed in getting through to him/her. ::&?xxx?1?xxx?xxx?xxx::&?xxx?xxx?2?xxx?xxx::I always want people to be able to defend their ideas.
