&I was particularly pleased with the level of the presentations...not too advanced, but with enough material to really sink one%27s teeth into. Kirchner%27s presentations were particularly appropriate.::&Although I thought there was more emphasis on mainframe than need be, it broadened my perspective quite a bit. A lot of the mainframe material did not pertain to me, but I was interested to learn what they are now capable of.::&In general, I thought all the instructors were very good. A lot of the material that Kaivalya got into was way beyond me and fairly difficult to follow. John Kirschner was superb and the subject matter spot on. Rick Slade was an excellent presenter and gave a remarkable perspective .NET application development which is the direction we are heading for some of our applications.::&?xxx?1?xxx?xxx?xxx::The venue was great. Nice environment. Good food.&?xxx?1?xxx?xxx?xxx::A huge value added was the Fred Moore volume on Storage&YES::&You might want to eliminate strategic planning and keep that with the IT Manager course. Started getting involved in IT when I wrote a grant to establish a network and network resources at Forsyth in 1994. We were funded for establishment of network by the National Library of Medicine in 1995. I have been running the network ever since. I now have a staff of five people working with me.
