&All the material was good. I especially liked the terminology session and the info on the IBM Z series.%0D%0A%0D%0AThe interaction/dialog with the attendees was %0D%0Agreat%21 It is what I think is the most important thing about these sessions-a bunch of main framers being able to talk about their problems in their respective companies-all seemed to be in agreement about the Client Server world-no structure and lack of control and recoverability%21::&The noise level from the kichen area and the activities going on around us made it difficult at times to clearly hear the speakers. I missed%0D%0Aa lot of what was being said about the IBM Z series as a result of that.%0D%0A%0D%0AI did not have a negative viewpoint about any of the material or guest speakers . I wish we could%0D%0Ahave had some notes for some of the presentations where they did not have the material available-%0D%0AWould also have liked to have had a list of all%0D%0Athe attendees-had a good mix with the seating at lunch but we were usually on a first name basis and I forgot who was from what company or what they did -data center manager or %3F ::&%0D%0AJoe Sitter-great to listen to%21 I have heard him speak before and he is still great%21%0D%0A%0D%0ADr. Guru Rao is someone to be in awe-except he is difficult to listen to when there are room noise%0D%0Adistractions because of his accent and his subject matter-his delivery is such that you do not want to miss anything he says so one tends to focus on his delivery (accent) and get annoyed if something is missed. The level of the volume of the speakers was okay but just too much %22noise%22 around when need to focus on what is being said due to an accent.%0D%0A%0D%0AThe rest of the speakers were %22stiff%22 in their delivery but the material was good.%0D%0A%0D%0ABill Carico-very personable and helps us all out by bringing us into the session-WHOA is a very good tool%21 Keeps us going (no time to be bored%21) and hex 32 is not a bad place to be%21%0D%0A::&Smile more/try not to be stiff in their dialog-I know that is not an easy thing to do when one is not a %22speaker%22 on a regular basis-at least that is what came across to me.::&?0?xxx?xxx?xxx?xxx::&?xxx?1?xxx?xxx?xxx::&TRUE::&IBM Z series SYSTEMS should be repeated-a lot of%0D%0Apeople had to cancel out (including my manager)%0D%0Adue to the air travel/security issues after 9/11.%0D%0AI have loaned my TAS book to my manager(Toby) and%0D%0AI am still waiting to get it back%21 Updates to %0D%0Athe series on an ongoing basis as data centers convert to the z series would also be helpful to share %22experiences%22. %0D%0A%0D%0A2.
