&I really liked the impartial attitude that the speakers presented. It was real refreshing to get away from the %22our product can do this better than your product%22 type of mentality. The speakers were quite knowledgeable and the topics covered quite varied so that my interest was constantly being held. I also found it invaluable to be able raise a point or ask a question at any time.::&I can honestly say that I did not find any negative aspects. About the only complaint I could have had was that I wanted more%21 And that is not a complaint on content or delivery.::&I quite enjoyed the various personalities of the TAS instructors. Each and every one brought their own unique flavour to the session. The choice of Joe Sitter on the afternoon of Day 4 was excellent%21 Dennis Wunder provides a lively presentation with an honest appreciation of reality. I think that what I really enjoyed more than anything else was the candor that each presented their information with. These aren%27t just professional teachers, these are all individuals who actually work with the tools and processes they are speaking about.%0D%0A%0D%0AAnd Bill Carico certainly played an excellent role as moderator as well as communicating his own presentation material.::&I have nothing to indicate in this area.::&?0?xxx?xxx?xxx?xxx::&?0?xxx?xxx?xxx?xxx::&TRUE::&I think that both Disaster Recovery and Security should have a half day session of their own. Unfortunately since I enjoyed all the material that was presented I can%27t see where to cut anything. Perhaps the spring and fall session could cover slightly different agendas. ::&I%27ve been in the industry since November 1972. I covered just about every area within datacentre operations over the first 12 years. Since that time I have primarily been involved with Facilities Management and Outsourcing. %0D%0A%0D%0AIn my current position I work as a a manager of Client Relations Managers (group of 23 CRM%27s report to me). I visit clients and look at their potential business requirement. From there I will put together a team and look more in depth at the requirements in order to prepare a solution and subsequent proposal. If accepted I write the contract for services as well as the service level agreements. If signed I put together a team to install and implement the workload into our environment. This could be as small as a static website on an existing server to a multi-LPAR mainframe environment with D/R capabilities at one of our other datacentres. I act as the interface between the client and our various support groups to ensure client satisfaction as well as work pro-actively to ensure the client%27s future business requirements are met. I have to know a little of everything and take a lot of verbal abuse while maintaining a smiling face%21::&?0?xxx?xxx?xxx?xxx::&Although directions were clearly spelled out in writing, a sample map of the area would have been helpful.::&I learned that the problems I am faced with are the same issues being dealt with by other organizations and that by sharing our knowledge and solutions we can all benefit.::&::&?xxx?1?xxx?xxx::
