We really do not have any external customer transactions.  ::&The majority of work is batch or work as a DB2 server using products like DB2 Connection.  Upper management often believes they migrated some applications off the mainframe when they really did not.  We have HR applications for aprox. 1100 employees.  As previously stated most of our work is batch in nature for billing or building or maintaining data which is then used to build databases on AIX boxes.  We serve approx. 50,000 libraries around the world.o  ::&&We do not do this.::&Our business executives 5 years ago indicated they would be off the mainframe by July, 2005.  Very little has gone off::&::&It is the best and most cost effective platform for large batch processing.
