&The open and relaxed atmosphere, along with a relatively small number of participants. It permitted a good exchange of information and I think that some people were more inclined to participate.::& Some of the discussions tended to drift to how and what happened in the distant past. I would prefer things / technologies / ideas that I%27m facing today. What people have tried, what works, what doesn%27t. There was some of this, but I would like more. %0D%0AAlso, I understand that this is a technology seminar, but I would like more discussion on the people aspect. For example%3A Problems associated with people working from home. How productivity can be measured. How people are evaluated and how their compensation relates. Methods people are using to provide 7x24x265 staffing. Dealing with human errors and working to eliminate them.::&Bill - Good speaker and easy to listen to. Good at making a point / counter point without causing a conflict. I enjoyed his style very much.%0D%0A%0D%0ADavid - I enjoyed Davids presentation. He seemed to really believe in what he was saying, lending credibility. His topics were probably the most relevant to me and my current responsibilities.%0D%0A%0D%0AMike Sisco - It%27s obvious that Mike is a professional. His cost savings ideas were very interesting and well thought out. He never implied that any of them were easy, or would work for everyone. I did find that most of them could be adapted to many companies, depending on how advanced they are in a particular area.%0D%0A%0D%0AJohn Kirschner - Johns experience and wide spread knowledge of the industry is amazing. While most of the topics did not apply directly to me / my needs, I found them very interesting.%0D%0A%0D%0AJoe Sitter - Wow%21 I enjoyed style as much if not more than Bill%27s. Powerful, stongly presented, yet he listened intently and brought all facets of a discussion to the table. ::&?xxx?1?xxx?xxx?xxx::Overall a week, well four days, well spent.&?xxx?xxx?2?xxx?xxx::NOthing special about the handouts. They were adequate and what I expected.&YES::&As mentioned above, factors surrounding the human aspect of IT. Maybe more on vendor relationships and managing them would be good.::&?xxx?1?xxx?xxx?xxx::All of my needs were addressed and I did not have any issues.&No. I am not authorized to act as a spokesman or representative of my employer. ::&Our IT training administrator is Clair Shippy.%0D%0AEmail = cshippy%40jcpenney.com.::&?xxx?xxx?xxx?xxx::&?xxx?xxx?xxx?xxx?xxx?5?xxx::Entirely Operations and entirely with JCPenney. Many positions including: Print operator, computer operator, shift manager, Change Control manager, automation manager, performance manager, project manager, command center operations manager.
