These are usually continuouse forms and large manual printings.::&A trend from paper to electronic, but paper will never disappear.::&Looking at options in the area of plastic ID carads::&Who I have to go through legally then Economy and quality.::&CASS certified mailing, literature assembly.::&Adopt the State Printer Process electronically.::&Economy, quality and speed::&All orders to vendors are on a low bid process throught the state printer. So this leave quality and speed. <BR>A printer also makes us happy to cover their mistakes promptly with no hassle.::&Poor quality, failure to make reasonable deadlines and failure to back up their product if they have errored.::&We go though the State Printer and they have contact with dozens of vendors. Our two major vendors are Kaye-Smith and Moore.::&Not in the last 2 years, however, have requested that Moore Wallace send the print jobs they win the bid on to only the Moore facilities. Weve had problems with every order that has ever been printed by a Wallace facility.::&Failure to guarentee their work.::&We are legally required to go throught the State Printer. They have their own guidelines to take a vendor off the bid table.....which they do.::&Always put all of the information on the box label. Orders get lost if improperly labeled.::&We must go through the State Printer (Department of Printing). We can either source it to their main plant or to one of their copy centers. State Printer is one of the largest flat sheet printers in this state. Orders that exceed their printing capabilities, due to volume or uniqueness, or unable to meet the time frames, are farmed out via the bid table.::&Our major vendors that receive our bids through the State Printer have been customers for 40 years. I also have an ongoing relationship with my sales reps and always receive excellent service. It is extremely rare that a vendor does not meet my needs.::&Prompt.
