In my small artisan roasting business I am very careful to require on way more wholesale work. Seems odd I know but my reasoning tends to be that since wholesale green prices have increased (we pay 2 or 3 times what we paid per annum ago) that can barely double our wholesale prices and make much that are of a profit after costs. I'm focusing on retail, although i have that option being roaster simply because can roast my own coffee |
